You know what I love most about Rey? She is fucking brutal.
I mean look at this aggression… I’m an older fan and I NEVER saw women presented like this when I was growing up, and I am so happy for all the little kids out there who get to have this
And in tfa it was this bit that got me shook
She just stalks towards him like the badass she is
Look at that face. I f**cking love it. I am so happy (and Daisy just kills it, what a star).
THIIIIIIIS.
I fucking love that she is ANGRY, that she is not PRETTY, that she is not THERE FOR THE MALE GAZE. Look at her shoulders, look at her arms, she is not twirling something or looking bitchface calm or sauntering sexily.
she is there to slash someone in the face and chew bubblegum and she is all the fuck out of bubblegum
Ian McDiarmid is reprising his role as the twisted, evil overlord. “The big bad in this time period of Star Wars is The Emperor,” Filoni says. “He is the one running everything and the evil of the land. We dealt with his lieutenants, and Vader is a lieutenant.” This is the ultimate source of darkness in the galaxy. “He’s a sophisticated villain,” Filoni adds. “That makes you more worried for Ezra.” [X]
I think the saddest part about Maul is that by the time he died I feel like he was clinging more to the idea of hating Obi-Wan than he was actually hating him. It had been so long since their duel on Naboo and Maul had gone through so much since then, but with the Sith out of his reach, the Jedi almost all gone, and his brother dead and his species wiped out, Maul really had nothing left to define himself by except that he hated Obi-Wan Kenobi. It really was for his own good that he died there, because if he’d killed Obi-Wan, Maul would really have had nothing left

“We are the select few who refuse to be carried by the Force, and who carry it instead. Thirty in a millennium, rather than the tens of thousands fit to be Jedi.“
